Portland Art Museum - Rental/Sales Gallery Spring Show May 19th is the opening show introducing new work by artists at the Rental Sales Gallery of the Portland Art Museum. This is where the show Grimm gets much of the art work on display in the show, including a number of my pieces. It is located behind the museum at the corner of SW 10th and SW Jefferson.
Oregonology at People's Art of Portland featuring art inspired by Oregon! I have created five new and very unique pieces for this show. I rarely use "real" places in my art work, but this time I took special places in Oregon and took a look at them through a Surrealist's spyglass. Check them out in detail in my Current Work page and don't forget to go to the opening on April 20th!
Cascade Aids Project Art Auction Every year since 1990, CAP has hosted an art auction and party to raise money to prevent the spread ofHIV/AIDS and provide services to those infected or affected by HIV in the Pacific Northwest. Portland’s art community first organized this iconic event, and they remain the backbone of the Art Auction today. The event has flourished over the past two decades, now encompassing 215 works of art and more than 1,500 guests.
Urban Art Network First Thursday Street Fair The First Thursday Street Gallery operates on the first Thursday of every month from April to November. Art replaces vehicular traffic on the blocks between NW Hoyt Street and NW Kearney Street from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
